SANA'A August 03. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Education announced the result of the high school exams for the academic year 1445 AH, with a success rate of 95.54 percent.

At the press conference held today in Sana'a to announce the result, the Minister of Education in the caretaker government, Yahya Al-Houthi, explained that the total number of students applying for the tests reached 224 thousand and 234 students, of whom 214 thousand and 935 students attended, and nine thousand and 299 students were absent.

He stated that 205 thousand 351 students succeeded in the tests, while nine thousand 584 students failed, congratulating the students on their success in the high school exams, and urging them to intensify their efforts to complete their scientific careers to achieve their dreams and serve their country in various fields.

The Minister of Education pointed to the great efforts made in light of the lack of capabilities and the difficult exceptional circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the continued aggression, blessing this success, which is a victory added to the balance of victories of the educational front against the aggression and its mercenaries who strived to thwart it, thanks to the concerted efforts of all.

He expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the committees working in the preparation and implementation of the general certificate exams in the capital's municipality, governorates, local authorities, security committees, media institutions, and everyone who contributed and cooperated in the success of the tests.

After that, Deputy Minister of Education Khaled Jahader reviewed the names of the first of the Republic in the scientific, literary, and English sections.

It is noteworthy that the results of the general certificate for the secondary stage are announced by calling the fixed phone number "160" or by sending the seating number with an SMS message via the Yemen Mobile communication network to the same number.
