TULKARM August 03. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces on Saturday launched two separate bombing operations in Tulkarm, located in the northern West Bank, resulting in the martyrdom of nine Palestinian citizens and extensive damage to infrastructure and property.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the first bombing occurred in the morning on Zeita-Atil road north of Tulkarm.

A vehicle was targeted, which caught fire, leading to the martyrdom of five individuals inside. Ambulance crews transferred four charred bodies to Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital; their identities remain unknown at the time of reporting. The fifth victim was identified as Haitham Nour al-Din Balidi, a 25-year-old from Tulkarm camp.

The second bombing targeted a group of young men in a rugged area between the town of Bal'a and Iktaba suburb east of Tulkarm.

This attack resulted in the martyrdom of four young men whose identities are still unknown.

The occupation forces detained their bodies and transferred them to an undisclosed location.

Large forces of the occupation army, accompanied by heavy bulldozers, stormed the city of Tulkarm, imposing a tight cordon around its camp.

They deliberately bulldozed and destroyed the already damaged infrastructure of the camp's neighborhoods, particularly concentrating on the neighborhoods near schools, the district, and the camp's entrances.

The occupation forces caused substantial destruction to the streets and citizens' property amid heavy gunfire and the flight of reconnaissance planes.

The bulldozers demolished citizens' property, including the walls of homes and vehicles, specifically in the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarm.

Concurrently, they began bulldozing the district street at the western entrance to the camp.

Early this morning, the occupation forces also bulldozed the street surrounding al-Murabitun Mosque and the Al-Alimi roundabout (the courts) in the western area of the city.
