HEBRON July 31. 2024 (Saba) - Clashes erupted between Palestinian citizens and Zionist forces on Wednesday in Al-Arroub camp, north Hebron, as the enemy stormed the towns of Sa'ir (northeast) and Al-Khader south of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that violent clashes erupted between citizens and the occupation forces in Al-Arroub camp, during which the occupation soldiers fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at citizens' homes, without reporting any injuries.
A large force from the occupation army also stormed the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, and its military patrols ran through the streets of the town and several neighborhoods, and raided a number of citizens' homes and shops in search of surveillance camera recordings.
The general unrest spread throughout the Hebron Governorate, as shops, institutions and universities closed their doors, and transportation stopped, in response to the call of the national forces for mourning and a general strike in condemnation of the occupation's crime of assassinating the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyah.
A local source reported that the occupation forces stormed Al-Khader and raided the house of the freed prisoner Khalil Khaled Salah, searched it, tampered with its contents and seized his vehicle.
