MOSCOW July 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense today said its forces took control over the towns of Progress and Yevgenovka in Donetsk, east Ukraine.

The ministry said in a statement that units of the Center Group forces were able to control the towns of Progress and Yevgenovka in the Donetsk region, and that Ukrainian forces in the two towns and their military equipment were targeted.

The statement also confirmed that Russian air defense systems shot down five "HIMARS" missiles, two "HARM" guided bombs and 34 drones.
