Symposium at Dhamar University on conflict nature with Israeli enemy
[Mon, 29 Jul 2024 12:50:26 +0300]

DHAMAR July 29. 2024 (Saba) - A cultural awareness seminar was organized at Dhamar University on the nature of the conflict with the Israeli enemy, with the participation of Al-Bayda University.

The symposium, which comes within the activities of the National Campaign to Support Al-Aqsa (You Are Not Alone), reviewed three axes: the emergence of Zionism, the role of Yemen in the Red Sea, and the economic boycott as a political and military tool.

In the first axis, the President of Al-Bayda University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aramy, discussed the emergence of Zionism and its control over the Christian world through four main stages. The first stage focused on changing the Christians' view of the Jews (1523-1611) after the "Jews" remained in their view "cursed" for a thousand and five hundred years, considering them the killers of Jesus Christ.

That was followed by the stage of sanctifying the Jews in Europe, which extended during the period "1611 AD - 1781 AD", and the printing of the King James Version in 1611 led to the completion of adoption, as publications were issued glorifying the Jews and demanding their return to England.

While the third stage was characterized by the penetration of Zionism into Europe in the period "1781-1897", where the term "Semitic peoples" appeared, which was later limited to the Jews, and has become the drawn sword until now against anyone who criticizes the Jews.

The fourth stage (1902 AD - 1917 AD) came to implement the Zionist projects, when the founder of the Zionist movement "Theodor Herzl" met with the British Prime Minister "Joseph Chamberlain" in 1902, and told him: "Our base must be in Palestine, which can be a barrier that secures British interests", and this was followed by holding conferences and agreements that established the settlement of Zionism in Palestine, including the "Balfour Declaration in 1917", according to which the Zionist entity (Israel) was planted in the heart of the Arab and Islamic nation in 1948.

He pointed to the positive returns on Yemen and the nation economically, politically and socially.. stressing that at this stage it is a religious, moral and humanitarian duty binding on all peoples of the world and the Islamic nation in particular.

The symposium concluded with a speech by the President of Dhamar University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Haifi, in which he touched on the most important points in the working papers presented to the symposium.

It stressed the importance of these scientific symposiums for the youth and university cadres to understand the history of the conspiracies being hatched against the Islamic nation and to confront them.
