SANA'A July 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Education Office in al-Sabeen district of the Capital Sana'a on Sunday organized a preparatory meeting for directors of government and private schools, activity and media officials, educational guidance teachers, and heads of parents' councils.

The meeting was held under the slogan "The Battle of Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad."

The meeting focused on discussing the school activities plan and the educational guidance program for the year 1446 AH.

During the meeting, Abdulqader al-Mahdi, Director of the Education Office in the Capital Sana'a, emphasized the continuous and integrated nature of the educational process.

Al-Mahdi highlighted the crucial role of educational guidance in embedding faith identity in students.

He stressed the importance of enhancing the educational and awareness aspects for students in all government and private schools.

Al-Mahdi emphasized the need to educate students about the enemies of the Islamic nation and their conspiracies aimed at undermining the nation's dignity, freedom, and sovereignty.

He noted that the educational guidance program developed by the Education Office last year garnered significant attention from the Ministry of Education and was distributed to schools in other governorates.

Al-Mahdi pointed out that 46% of the schools in the Capital Sana'a were covered by educational guidance teachers.

He urged the expansion of this coverage to include all schools in the district, which hosts the highest number of government and private schools in the Secretariat.

Taj al-Din al-Kebsi, Director of Education in al-Sabeen, presented the school activities plan and the educational guidance program for 1446 AH, detailing the implementation mechanism for both government and private schools.

Al-Kebsi explained various concepts and behaviors to be followed during the implementation of the educational guidance program, which targets students from the second grade to the second year of secondary school.

He also discussed the outcomes of the preparatory meeting, which included the activation of cultural and media student groups, initiatives, competitions, and the development of students’ talents and creativity.

The meeting saw the participation of 200 educational leaders and cadres, reflecting the collaborative effort to enhance the educational framework in al-Sabeen District.
