MOSCOW July 28. 2024 (Saba) -The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that units of the paratrooper forces destroyed a 155mm American howitzer on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson province.
The Russian Defense Ministry published a clip showing the targeting of the US cannon and the armed elements surrounding it, after intelligence monitoring of the routes of a "Zala" reconnaissance drone.
The ministry pointed out, according to the news agency "Sputnik" that the operation to target the US "M777" 155 mm gun took place through a suicide drone model "Lancet".
The video also showed the destruction of a warehouse containing ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson province.
The Russian special military operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the population of Donbass, who have been persecuted and exterminated by the Kiev regime, for years.
Russian forces thwarted the Ukrainian "counteroffensive", despite significant financial and military support provided by NATO and a number of Western and Washington-allied countries to the Kiev regime.
During the operation, the Russian forces destroyed a lot of equipment that the West bet on, led by German Leopard 2 tanks, many American and British armored vehicles, in addition to many tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, which were destined to be destroyed by the Russian strikes.
