TULKARM July 23. 2024 (Saba) - On Tuesday, the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, successfully targeted and detonated explosive devices on Zionist military vehicles in the city of Tulkarm.
According to a statement from the Al-Qassam Brigades, their fighters set off explosives on a D9 bulldozer and a wheeled bulldozer as part of their operation. Video footage released by the Brigades captured the moment of detonation, showing the extent of the damage inflicted on the vehicles.
The Brigades reported that a D9 bulldozer was destroyed in the Muqata’a axis, while another device, a "Sanqur 5," was used to damage a bulldozer in the Al-Ghanim neighborhood axis. The explosion reportedly led to the injury of several enemy soldiers, who were subsequently evacuated from the site.
Intense clashes followed as Al-Qassam fighters engaged the invading forces in multiple fronts, particularly in the Al-Muqataa neighborhood near Al-Salam Mosque and the Al-Balawneh neighborhood. Resistance fighters set up ambushes, firing bullets and explosive devices at the advancing enemy troops.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that the occupation forces sustained casualties due to the explosions and were forced to withdraw some of their injured personnel.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also shared recent footage of their operations, highlighting attacks on settlers and enemy soldiers in the occupied West Bank. They reiterated their commitment to continue operations as part of the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood Battle, in support of Gaza’s resistance and in defense of Palestinian land and holy sites.
