RAMALLAH July 21. 2024 (Saba) - Zionist enemy forces on Sunday initiated a series of raids and arrests across various parts of the occupied West Bank, sparking confrontations in several areas.

In Nablus, the Palestinian Information Center reported that enemy forces arrested Ibtihal Nawaf Al-Amer, a student at An-Najah University, from the town of Kafr Qalil, east of Nablus.

According to the family of journalist Nawaf Al-Amer, the forces stormed their house, arrested Ibtihal, and tore up pictures of her detained father.

In Tubas, resistance fighters confronted the enemy forces as they stormed the city. A local source mentioned that the forces entered Tubas from its eastern entrance, raided several homes, and clashed with young men and resistance fighters.

In Qalqilya, enemy forces stormed the area around Street 22 and the Islamic College, deployed snipers on rooftops, and arrested the father and brother of the wanted Ali Bakr to pressure him to surrender.

They also stormed the home of another wanted individual, Jamal Abu Haniyeh, arrested his father, and conducted a field investigation with his family.

In Bethlehem, a young Palestinian man was shot by enemy forces at a military checkpoint in the village of Al-Jabaa, southwest of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that enemy forces fired live bullets at the young man, injuring him in the knee. He was transferred to Al-Hussein Hospital in Beit Jala by Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews.

In Hebron, the Palestinian Red Crescent received a 17-year-old boy injured by live bullets in the knee at the Jaba checkpoint, and he was taken to Alia Hospital in the city.

Enemy forces also raided the city of Dura, the town of Bani Naim, and areas in Wadi al-Hariya and Yatta, conducting raids and searches in citizens’ homes.
