TEHRAN July 20. 2024 (Saba) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani stressed that destruction is the closest and final destination for the Zionist entity.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted Kanaani in a post on Saturday, saying: During nearly ten months of the brutal aggression launched by the Zionist entity on Gaza, about eight thousand and 600 students and more than 500 faculty members in the Gaza Strip have been martyred.
He added: With the closure of schools and the sheltering of the displaced in educational buildings and schools, these places are still being attacked by the terrorist Zionist enemy forces as targets of war under false and flimsy pretexts, and recently targeted the "Al-Falah School" affiliated with UNRWA, which shelters thousands of displaced people in the Zeitoun area, and dozens of martyrs and wounded.
He continued: The criminal leaders of the apartheid entity and their Western supporters should know that none of these criminal acts can compensate for their strategic failures against the patient and resistant Palestinian people. He added: An entity that has no choice but to resort to crime in order to survive, as annihilation is its closest and final destination.
