BAGHDAD July 18. 2024 (Saba) - Spokesman for the popular legal movement in Iraq, Muhammad al-Sahhaf, on Thursday called on the government to bypass American restrictions and foreign dictates, stressing the necessity of setting a timetable for the complete withdrawal of foreign forces.
In a statement, carried by the Iraqi "Al-Ma'louma" Agency, Al-Sahhaf rejected any procrastination in removing American forces from Iraq, as this procrastination is an American bet to buy time and perpetuate the survival of these forces, whose criminality is witnessed far and wide.
He called on the Iraqi government to "fulfill its obligations because the file of preserving national sovereignty and freedom from the restrictions of foreign guardianship is the most important."
