WASHINGTON July 18. 2024 (Saba) -The U.S. police on Tuesday afternoon shot dead an armed man in the vicinity of a site hosting the Republican Party's convention in Milwaukee, the police said, with a gun found in possession on the masked man.
The police arrested a 21-year-old gunman at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and found AK47 rifle and fully-charged magazine in his possession, Fox-News quoted a federal source at law enforcement forces as saying.
The man had no arms permit in Wisconsin or any other state, the police said, noting that accusations against him were pending review by Milwaukee provincial general attorney.
The Republican candidate for the presidential elections, Donald Trump, on Saturday survived an attempted assassination at an electoral gathering in Pennsylvania.
