RAYMAH July 16. 2024 (Saba) - Raymah Province commemorated martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, anniversary with a central event in the city of Al-Jabayn under the slogan, “Humiliation is far from us.”
The participants raised banners and chanted slogans of freedom, emphasizing that the Yemeni people are continuing on the path of Imam Hussein in their revolution against tyranny and arrogance with all steadfastness and fortitude.
They pointed to the lessons that Imam Hussein provided to the nation about not accepting weakness and humiliation, and standing up to the oppressor, no matter how great his capabilities and power.
Province Undersecretary Fahd Al Harisi confirmed that Raymah people's position in particular , the Yemeni people in general in supporting and assisting the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip to confront the occupying Zionist enemy stems from their belief in the justice of their cause.
Words pointed out that the Saudi-American-British aggression wanted to tear apart and defeat Yemen, but with God’s help, the wise leadership, and the Yemeni people, they prevailed, drawing steadfastness, patience, and steadfastness from the approach of Imam Hussein bin Ali, peace be upon them.
