SANA'A July 15. 2024 (Saba) - The General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families on Monday launched a significant initiative with the inauguration of the school bag project, benefiting 38,987 students across Yemen. Costing 198.876 million riyals, the project aims to support children of martyrs and missing persons by providing essential educational supplies.
Ministers Najib al-Ajji and Ahmed al-Hamati of the caretaker government joined the ceremony, emphasizing the project's importance in honoring the sacrifices made by martyrs for Yemen.
State Minister Ahmed al-Ali commended the authority's commitment to ensuring a dignified life for martyr families and stressed collective responsibility in supporting their children.
Highlighting the event, Taha Jarran, head of the General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs’ Families, and his deputy Saleh Hamza, along with Undersecretary Hussein Al-Qadi, reiterated the leadership's dedication to Yemen’s youth and their education.
Al-Qadi underscored the meticulous preparation of the project in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, underscoring its role in bolstering support for martyr families.
Student representative Muhammad al-Mahdi expressed gratitude on behalf of the children of martyrs for the ongoing care and support provided by the revolutionary leadership and the General Authority.
Abdullah al-Yamani extended solidarity to Palestinian children enduring hardships under Israeli aggression, highlighting global awareness of their plight.
