SANA'A July 14. 2024 (Saba) - The confessions of members of the US-Israeli spy cell revealed the subversive activities that targeted young people in Yemen, and their exploitation to serve the American agenda and interests.
The spy Hisham Al-Wazir explained that the projects of both "Mercy Corps" and "AMIDEAST" worked directly to attract young men and women to work for the US Embassy, so that they are managed directly by "Sabrina Viber", who is transferred with them to the US ambassador and his deputy through meetings to be arranged, as well as to the Director of the United States Agency for Development and the Deputy Director of the Agency.
Another "Common Ground" project that began during the dialogue conference was a project to build the so-called capacities of young men and women in conflict resolution, targeting several governorates, including Sanaa, Taiz, Aden and part of Lahj, he said.
He pointed out that with the reactivation of the project again in favor of the "Common Ground" organization to serve the aggression, Sanaa was canceled, especially after the formation of the Supreme Political Council, and the focus was only on Taiz and Aden, specifically Taiz mainly.
Al-Wazir pointed out that the project works in the areas controlled by the aggression in Taiz, and ensures the provision of a financial grant to help solve a specific problem, such as paving a road in the Al-Shamaiteen district, where a financial grant is provided, and the establishment of a joint committee of young men and women to carry out the service and solve the problem.
He stressed that the most important thing that the Americans were secretly gaining from this project is the process of attracting and recruiting young men and women, spreading Western ideas and values, ensuring the influence of social figures and identifying them at the level of directorates, and it carries out from time to time special work for the General Administration of the Agency in terms of conducting evaluations and field studies or studies related to young people, their conditions, needs, problems they face, their orientations, and the process of measuring their opinion, carried out by a joint ground organization for the benefit of the United States Agency for Development in the areas controlled by the aggression. In both the south of the country and Taiz.
Spy Mohamed al-Waziza explained that the youth network was established, a network of 100 young people present in the five governorates targeted by the project, namely Aden, Hadramawt, Marib, Ibb and Sana'a.
He stated that this network was later called the "Leaders for Development" network and was known in the "Raneen" Foundation as the "Leaders for Development" network, and later it was referred to as the "Leaders for Development One" network, and the "Raneen" Foundation within the project provided a series of training workshops for capacity-building, one of which was the preparation of project proposals, and this network was required to implement advocacy campaigns.
According to the spy Al-Waziza, one of the activities of this component was to carry out a meeting of samples or groups of this network so that four people from each governorate out of twenty within the province attend. He pointed out that the meeting was held in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate, for two to three days, during which they talked about the mechanism of communication between the people in the network and how they communicate with each other in the governorates, and within each governorate except Sana'a, and within the project there is a coordinator for the network, as well as a consultant for each group in each governorate.
