GAZA July 13. 2024 (Saba) -The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today the arrival of 71 martyrs and more than 289 injured, some of them seriously, to the Nasser Medical Complex following the enemy shelling of camps for displaced people in Khan Yunis.
The ministry said, according to the Palestinian Ma'an news agency, "We are unable to provide medical services at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis due to the large number of wounded."
Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the General Directorate of Civil Defense, said: "One of our members was killed and eight others were injured after an Israeli targeted a residential house again while crews were working to rescue citizens from inside the house in the center of Khan Yunis.
The Civil Defense added that the large scale of the shelling with which the occupation targeted the places and tents of the displaced makes it difficult to reach many bodies and wounded.
This massacre comes after the occupation committed horrific massacres in the industrial area of the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, and in the neighborhoods of Gaza City and the central camps, which killed more than 100 martyrs, which raises the number of martyrs successively and rapidly.
The government information office in Gaza said relief teams continued to recover dozens of martyrs and wounded from the site of the bombing, and stressed that hospitals were unable to accommodate this number of wounded.
The government office in Gaza condemned the Israeli occupation of this great massacre and the ongoing massacres against civilians, and condemned the US administration's alignment with the occupation in the ongoing crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The office held the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for the continuation of these horrific massacres against civilians.
He called on the international community, the United Nations, various international organizations and all countries of the free world to pressure the Israeli occupation and the US administration to stop the genocidal war and stop the bloodshed flowing in the Gaza Strip.
