TAIZ July 11. 2024 (Saba) - Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Amin Al-Musawa, reviewed on Thursday, the progress of maintenance work on the main road in Salah District, extending from Sofitel roundabout to Al-Qasr roundabout.
The maintenance work, which aims to restore the excavations, central layer, and add a new asphalt layer, coincides with the humanitarian initiative launched by the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to open Qasr al-Shaab-Al-Kamb road to facilitate the movement of citizens and alleviate their suffering.
The Acting Governor also reviewed the maintenance work on the main street in Sharab Al-Runa District, which is being implemented by the Executive Unit for Road Construction , Development, and heard from those in charge of the two maintenance projects a detailed explanation of work progress and what has been accomplished.
He considered road projects an important step to achieve sustainable development for the residents of the province, stressing the necessity of implementing projects in accordance with the required specifications and standards.
He said, "We are committed to providing services and facilitating capabilities to ensure the continued implementation of projects and their completion according to the highest standards," noting the keenness to follow up on development projects to ensure the provision of services to citizens.
The acting governor confirmed that the implementation of service projects translates the directives of the Revolution Leader and the President of the Supreme Political Council.
He was accompanied by the province's mobilization official, Muhammad Al-Khalidi, the director of the executive unit for road construction and development, Hussam Al-Fatash, the director of the Foreign Office, Fares Al-Bahr, and the deputy director of media, Hussam Basha.
