GAZA July 11. 2024 (Saba) -The military wings of the Palestinian resistance continued to confront the aggression of the Zionist enemy army for the 279th consecutive day, and managed to destroy a number of its military vehicles, target gatherings of its soldiers, and bombard the settlements surrounding Gaza with rocket barrages.
The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced in a military statement via the Telegram platform that two Merkvah tanks were targeted with two "Tandom" shells near the Zahar junction in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
In a separate statement, the al-Qassam Brigades said its fighters were able to target an Israeli foot force with a TBG shell, killing and wounding them near the Zahar junction in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood.
The Qassam Brigades also shelled enemy forces positioned in the Netzarim axis with high-caliber mortars.
For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), announced that it had bombed a position of Zionist enemy soldiers on the supply line in the Netzarim axis south of Gaza City.
The Al-Quds Brigades, in conjunction with the Qassam Brigades, targeted two personnel carriers and a military bulldozer with RPG and "Al-Yassin 105" shells south of the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah.
The Al-Quds Brigades shelled the cities of Ashdod and Ashkelon and the settlements of Sderot, Holit, Yatide and Aveshalom in the Gaza envelope with rocket barrages.
The Al-Quds Brigades, in conjunction with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, also shelled soldiers and vehicles of the Zionist enemy in the vicinity of the industrial area, southwest of Gaza City.
The Zionist enemy media said: The sirens sounded on Thursday morning, in six locations in the Gaza envelope after a rocket barrage fired from Rafah.
The Zionist website Code Code reported that five rockets were fired from the Rafah area towards the settlements of Al-Ghalaf.
The enemy army spokesman claimed that "Iron Dome succeeded in intercepting five rockets fired from the Strip."
Since the seventh of last October, the Zionist enemy army continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, as its planes bomb the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers and homes of Palestinian civilians and destroy them over the heads of their residents, and prevent the entry of water, food, medicine and fuel.
The ongoing Zionist-American aggression on Gaza led to the death of 38,295 martyrs and the injury of 88,241 others, displacing about 1.9 million people from the Strip, according to United Nations data.
