HODEIDA July 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the Industrial Sector, Ayman Al-Khalqi, inspected today, Wednesday, a number of projects under construction in the industrial zone in Hodeida Province.
During the visit, the Undersecretary praised the level of completion of projects in the region since the delivery of land plots to investors during the past months, explaining that the visit comes to determine the implementation level of industrial and production projects in accordance with the agreements signed between the Ministry and investors.
He stressed that the industrial zone in Hodeida is witnessing great activity and the indicators are promising with excellent results, noting that the ministry’s leadership pays special attention to encouraging national capital to move towards industrial and productive projects and provides all aspects of support and facilities, especially industries that rely on local raw materials, which enjoy unlimited advantages.
Undersecretary Al-Khalqi pointed out that the completion of industrial and production projects in the industrial zone during the coming months will represent an important shift for national industries and a major advance in the ministry’s plans to cover the needs of the local market.
