SANA'A July 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control on Wednesday commenced a week-long field visit to industrial facilities across Hajjah and Amran provinces.
The initiative aims to bolster production quality and market competitiveness by ensuring adherence to approved standard specifications.
The visit, overseen by the Authority's branch directors, focuses on cement, drinking water, and food salt production facilities, where samples will be rigorously examined to verify compliance with regulatory standards.
Citizens are encouraged to report any non-compliant products or labs via a dedicated toll-free hotline, underscoring the Authority's commitment to enhancing local industries and product safety.
