JAWF July 09. 2024 (Saba) - The office of the General Authority for Zakat in Al-Jawf Province launched the distribution of grain zakat to eight thousand beneficiaries of the poor and needy in the province under the slogan “And give it its due on the day it is harvested.”
At the inauguration, the Undersecretary of the General Authority for Zakat, Ali Al-Saqqaf, explained the importance of distributing grain zakat to those who deserve it to alleviate their suffering, especially in the current circumstances that the country is experiencing as a result of the continued American-Saudi aggression and the unjust blockade.
For his part, the local mayor of the province, Ali Hamid, praised the efforts of the General Authority for Zakat and its interest in the segment of the poor and needy and alleviating their great suffering.
The inauguration was attended by the Director of the Office of the General Authority for Zakat in the peovince, Abdul Qader Al-Mahars.
