HAJJAH July 09. 2024 (Saba) - Ministry of Local Administration Undersecretary for the Women’s Development Sector, Dr. Halima Jahaf, reviewed today,Tuesday, work progress in the Women’s Development Department in Hajjah Province Office.
Dr. Jahaf inspected the level of implementation of the institutional support project in the administration and a number of its branches as a first stage, as well as the level of implementation of the executive plans in accordance with the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.
She stressed the Ministry of Local Administration's keenness to support women's development departments in the provinces so that they can perform their tasks , monitor and evaluate the level of achievement through networking between the province office and the ministry.
She also stressed the keenness to overcome obstacles that hinder the progress of work, and to enhance coordination with the Office of Planning , Development and relevant authorities to approve development projects for managing women’s development in the areas of economic empowerment, in a way that reflects positively on society , enhances the factors of resilience and steadfastness.
Dr. Jahaf noted the role of the Women's Development Department in enhancing community awareness of the dangers of aggression and its goals aimed at targeting the faith identity of the Yemeni people. She praised the level of performance of women's development in the province despite the scarcity of capabilities.
