ROME July 08. 2024 (Saba) - The World Food Programme (WFP) on Monday said that "half a million people in the Gaza Strip face catastrophic levels of hunger."

The UN program said in a post on its account on the X platform that "Palestinian families in Gaza often do not receive full food rations continuously."

"Unreliable access to humanitarian aid and limited stocks prevent families in Gaza from getting the food rations they need," he said.

The UN program called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
