SANA'A July 08. 2024 (Saba) - A vigil in solidarity with the Palestinian people was held today, Monday,in Sana'a under the slogan “With Gaza... the support fronts are steadfast and jihad”, organized by the Faculty of Multimedia and Technical Creativity at International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT).
The participants in the protest, in the presence of the University President, Dr. Wael Al-Aghbari, his Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Aqeel Al-Sarmi, the Secretary-General, Abdul Salam Al-Alimi, and university employees, chanted slogans denouncing the crimes of genocide to which the people of Gaza were exposed, in full view of the world, for more than 280 days without the world doing anything.
The statement indicated the firm and principled position of the Yemeni people, leadership, government and people, in supporting and aiding the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and their absolute support for the escalating military operations and the continuation of official and popular activities and events, mobilization and boycott without tire.
The statement noted the continuation of the student movement in American and European universities, which faces a media blackout, repressive measures, and unjust trials.
It praised the escalating qualitative and influential operations of the Axis of Resistance against the Zionist entity... stressing the right of the Yemeni people to take what is necessary in the face of the American’s diabolical efforts to implicate some countries in the region by opening their airspace to attack our country and pressuring it to stop its operations in supporting of the Palestinians.
The statement renewed the mandate for the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to take options to confront this, as well as to confront what it described as the Saudi regime’s involvement in supporting aggressive measures that affect the interests of Yemen and its people in the service of the Americans and the Israelis.
