SANA'A 07. July 2024 (Saba) - Women’s Awareness Department of the Guidance Office, in cooperation with the General Administration of Women’s Development and the Women’s Authority in the Capital Secretariat, tiday, launched activities commemorating Ashura - the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Humiliation is far from us.”
At the inauguration, Director of the Women’s Development Department in the Guidance Office, Hanan Al-Azzi, pointed out the importance of drawing lessons from the Karbala incident, in which the tribe of the Messenger of Allah sacrificed his blood, along with his family, in order to defend God’s religion and the truth, and to follow his path in confronting the arrogant and criminals.
It touched on the guidelines for Ashura commemoration events and activities, including the role of Imam Hussein in confronting the hypocrisy movement from a position of responsibility, indicating that this trend is faced by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed. Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, in this era.
Al-Ezzi stressed the continuation of holding activities and events in support of the Palestinian people.
The event was attended by a large crowd of guidance, cultural and social cadres in the secretariat’s directorates.
