SANA'A July 07. 2024 (Saba) - The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects rain of varying intensity in several provinces, hot to very hot weather in deserts, plateaus, plains , coastal areas, strong winds on the coasts and deserts during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that rains of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected in various areas of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhale’, Dhamar, Raymah, Sana’a and northern Lahj provinces.
According to the center, the weather will be hot to very hot in deserts, inland plateaus, plains, and coastal areas, with maximum temperatures ranging between 37-45 degrees Celsius.
The Center warned citizens in areas where rain is expected to fall or block the paths of floods , thunderstorms, and against the decrease in horizontal visibility due to water murmur, fog and rain.
It also warned vehicle drivers and those with chest diseases in desert areas of the dust , dirt raised, as well as sea-goers, fishermen, ship captains of sea turbulence , high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern Gulf of Aden, eastern and southern coasts.
The Center also warned citizens in deserts, inland plateaus, plains , coasts against extremely hot weather and advised against direct exposure to the sun's rays.
