GAZA July 07. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy army has killed two Palestinian detainees and wounded others, hours after releasing them.
The occupation army targeted them with an artillery shell east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds News Agency quoted one of the detainees who survived the attack Saturday night as saying “Hours ago, the Zionist enemy army released about 15 Palestinians who were workers securing aid trucks. We had been arrested four days ago while we were in the Gaza airport area, east of Rafah.” While we wait for the trucks to arrive."
The liberated detainee added “As soon as we reached the paved road in the city of Rafah, the occupation army soldiers threw a missile at us, resulting in the death and injury of about seven people and the rest of the workers fleeing the place.”
Regarding their conditions inside the prison, he said: “The enemy forces began to physically torture and humiliate them by throwing them on the ground, walking over their bodies, and urinating on them.”
From time to time, the Zionist enemy army releases Palestinian detainees it had arrested during its ground operation in the Gaza Strip, which it began on October 27, 2023.
The released detainees say that they are subjected to "various types of brutal torture inside Zionist detention centers, causing wounds, some of which are deep, and cause permanent disabilities for them."
More than once, the enemy army targeted those working to secure the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip with direct bombardment or gunfire, the most recent of which was on Friday when a Palestinian was martyred by Zionist bullets fired by enemy forces while participating in securing aid as it passed east of the city.
Also, on June 20, the enemy army bombed a gathering of merchants and protection committees that were working to secure aid while they were on Salah al-Din Street, east of Rafah. This led to the death and injury of a number of them.
It is noteworthy that the Zionist enemy army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip with American support since last October 7, which resulted in more than 125,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than ten thousand missing people amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens of children.
