MAHWIT July 03. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Al Mahwit province chaired today under the chairmanship of the Governorate's Undersecretary Hussein Arkadh discussed the arrangements for the inauguration of the fourth mass wedding for 264 grooms and brides, which will be held by the General Authority of Zakat.
In the meeting, Deputy Governor Hussein Arkad, Deputy Mobilization Officer in the province Amer Al-Aghhoumi and Director of the Zakat Office in the province Hamid Al-Radmi stressed that the mass wedding embodies the principles and values of social solidarity and compassion, especially in light of the current circumstances that the country is going through.
They appreciated the role of the leadership of the local authority and its contribution in overcoming the difficulties to inaugurate the fourth mass wedding. They praised the support of the Zakat Authority in implementing such humanitarian projects that relieve young people of the burden of completing half of their religion.
