AMRAN July 02. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Amran Governorate on Tuesday, chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Jaaman, discussed the conditions of the Electricity Corporation branch, the level of performance and ways to enhance and develop it.

The meeting reviewed the report of the branch manager, Abdul Ghafoor Al-Mahdi, on the difficulties facing the performance and ways to address them, and the priorities of work during the next phase in connecting the electricity network to citizens and the measures that are being taken to address financial and administrative imbalances.

He pointed to the branch's plan to maintain the electricity network in the governorate and directorates, as well as work needs to improve performance to ensure the development of services provided to subscribers.

Al-Mahdi touched on the treatments taken to confront power outages and the efforts being made to improve the electricity system, collect revenues, inspect and repair power transmission lines.

In the meeting, Governor Jaaman stressed the keenness of the leadership of the local authority to support the efforts of the branch of the institution to restore its activity and overcome the difficulties it faces in order to correct its situation and overcome challenges.

He urged the leadership of the branch of the institution and directors of departments to exert more efforts to address imbalances, and to improve the level of the branch's plans and achievements, noting the importance of qualifying and training the branch's employees, controlling the collection mechanism, addressing imbalances in the electrical system and working in a team spirit.
