SANA'A July 02. 2024 (Saba) -Sana'a City on Tuesday hosted a meeting, between chairman of the public authority for rural water projects and coordinator of water and environmental sanitation block in Yemen, that discussed a mechanism aimed to unify efforts exerted by the block's members to develop a strategic plan for interventions needed to fight epidemics and flood disasters.

At their meeting, Adel Badir and Fredric addressed aspects relating to urgent interventions in order to secure a stock of resources needed to fight acute diarrhea cases.

The meeting focused on interventions of priority in the form of providing the rural targeted areas with solar energy systems and other solutions needed to improve water sources there.

They reviewed a plan presented by the authority to the UNICEF, which was later inked by the ministry of water and the UNICEF for 2023 and 2024, including the supplies and requirements to apply the plan.
