IBB July 01. 2024 (Saba) - The Tax Office, along with the Property and Qat Tax Units in Ibb province, organized a commemorative event on Monday to mark the anniversary of al-Welayah Day under the slogan "Whoever I am his leader, Ali is his leader."
During the event, Deputy Head of Mobilization in the province, Abdullah al-Waeli, highlighted the importance of allegiance to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and the leaders of guidance to protect the nation from aligning with its enemies.
He emphasized the need for the nation to return to and adhere to the allegiance to God, His noble Messenger, and Imam Ali, as it ensures staying on the righteous path ordained by God and preserving its dignity and honor.
Director of the Tax Office in the province, Mu'een al-Shailef explained that when the nation distanced itself from the allegiance to Imam Ali (peace be upon him), its connection to God and His Messenger weakened, allowing enemies to control its destiny.
He pointed out the importance of commemorating this anniversary and embodying the concept of allegiance to Imam Ali by following his path and emulating him. He stated that celebrating al-Welayah Day reflects the nation’s adherence to its religion, belief, and identity.
Deputy Director of the Tax Office in the province, Mohammed Khalil confirmed that the principle of allegiance is a guarantee to protect the nation from any infiltration by enemies. He stressed the necessity of renewing the pledge of allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
The event, attended by Directors of Property Tax Unit Ahmed al-Junaid, Qat Tax Unit, Jamil al-Haddad and Director of the Culture Office Abdulhakim Muqbil featured a poetic recitation and expressive chants.
