RABAT June 28. 2024 (Saba) - Hundreds of Moroccans in the city of Tangier late on Thursday participated in a march to show solidarity with Palestine and oppose the Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip, demanding “an end to the starvation and killing of Palestinians.”
Local media reported that participants in the march, which began on Thursday evening, raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans calling for the protection of civilians in Gaza and pressures on the Zionist entity to stop its operations aimed at displacing Palestinians from the besieged Strip.
They also chanted slogans in support of Palestine, including “Moroccan greetings... to proud Gaza” and “Morocco and Palestine... one people, not two peoples.”
The march toured the most important streets of the city, amid a large presence of citizens and human rights activists.
Many Moroccan cities, including the capital, Rabat, witness, on an almost daily basis, massive vigils in solidarity with the Palestinian people and demanding an end to the Zionist raids on Gaza, the lifting of the siege and the entry of aid.
