IBB June 27. 2024 (Saba) - Two speech and cultural evenings were held in al-Mashna district of Ibb province, in the areas of al-Dhathath and al-Jabajab, to commemorate the anniversary of al-Welaya day of Imam Ali - peace be upon him.
During these two events, Abdelfattah Ghallab, the province's general mobilization official, explained that al-Welaya day of Imam Ali is a true safeguard for the nation against division and deviation from the authority of God and His Messenger.
Ghallab emphasized that the leadership (al-Welaya) of Imam Ali - peace be upon him - is a continuation of the leadership of God Almighty and the Messenger Muhammad - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and represents the righteous path for the nation, preserving its status and dignity.
He stressed that this day embodies practical principles rooted in emulating the morals, values, and bravery of Imam Ali and his struggle (jihad) for the sake of God.
Ghallab also highlighted that commemorating this day strengthens resilience against the forces of arrogance and enemies of Islam.
Additionally, a cultural event took place in the old city of al-Mashna district to mark the anniversary of Imam Ali’s al-Welaya day.
During this evening, in the presence of province representative Harith al-Mulaiki several speeches were delivered, all underscoring the significance of the day as a fundamental principle in Islam.
Al-Mulaiki pointed out that this divine day elevates the nation in its purity, awareness, and morale to effectively confront oppressors and their collaborators among unbelievers and hypocrites.
