SA'ADA June 27. 2024 (Saba) - The offices of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance in Sa'ada province organized a speech event to commemorate the passing of the scholar Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
At the event, attended by the governor of Sa'ada, Mohammed Awad, and the governor of Hodeida, Mohammed Qahim, Prof. Abdulrahim al-Humran, the rector of Sa'ada University, reviewed significant aspects of the scholarly and militant life of Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
Al-Humran discussed various facets of the scholar's life, including his scholarly and intellectual contributions, writings, and his notable efforts in countering foreign ideologies and false cultural influences in society.
He emphasized that scholar al-Houthi carried the nation’s concerns, having been raised in a scholarly family, and took principled stances throughout his militant and scholarly career. He supported the Qur’anic project championed by the late leader, Sayyed Hussein al-Houthi, and endured hardships and challenges in his unwavering commitment to God and support for the vulnerable.
