SANA'A June 26. 2024 (Saba) - Eng. Abdulraqib al-Shurmani, Acting Minister of Water and Environment, conducted on Wednesday an inspection of the organizational discipline at the local institution for water and sanitation in the Capital Sana'a, on the second day following Eid al-Adha holiday.
During his visit, al-Shurmani received a briefing from the General Manager of the institution, Eng. Mohammed Madaes, on the operational procedures, employee discipline, and efforts made by specialists and engineers, particularly during the Eid holiday, to enhance water and sanitation services.
Minister al-Shurmani praised the level of discipline among the employees of the water institution, emphasizing the need to streamline work mechanisms and intensify efforts to improve performance and deliver services to citizens.
The meeting chaired by al-Shurmani, Acting Minister of Water, included discussions with Mohammed al-Wadie, Deputy Minister of Water for Environmental Affairs, Eng. Madaes, and departmental directors, focusing on the progress of water and sanitation projects, operational challenges, and necessary interventions to address them.
