SANA'A June 26. 2024 (Saba) - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmed al-Shuwaiteri on Wednesday visited the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing, as well as the Yemeni Standards, Metrology, and Quality Control Authority, to assess the level of job discipline and operational processes.
During his visit to the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing, al-Shuwaiteri listened to a briefing from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Yahya Attiya, regarding the progress in development and modernization plans within the corporation, including network integration between the corporation and its subsidiary factories.
He praised the tangible advancements in the corporation's development initiatives, noting the shift towards electronic work processes and network integration. These advancements are expected to resolve many of the obstacles that previously hindered the corporation's and its subsidiaries' progress and development, he said.
Al-Shuwaiteri also commended the efforts of the corporation's leadership and staff in implementing modern systems in administrative, financial, and human resources domains, aiming to elevate the corporation and its factories to higher standards.
