SANA'A June 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, stressed the keenness to continue providing services to patients and supplying hospitals and health facilities in the governorates with the medicines and medical equipment they need.

This came during a meeting with Minister Al-Mutawakel, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance for the Monitoring and Evaluation Sector, Abdullah Haidar, who was briefed on the level of job discipline in the ministry on the first official working day after the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Al-Mutawakel pointed to the repercussions of the continued aggression and blockade on the health sector and the efforts made by the ministry's leadership, health offices and various bodies and hospitals in the governorates to ensure the provision of medical, therapeutic and nursing services with quality and efficiency, especially on the days of Eid al-Adha.

He touched on the services provided by the Ministry, including the efforts exerted to popularize the automation and networking system and its successes in this aspect, in addition to the overall efforts and activities in the various sectors of the Ministry.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service considered the job discipline of the leadership and employees of the Ministry of Health, reflecting their keenness and awareness of the importance of adhering to the official working hours, developing administrative and institutional work, improving performance, and improving the level of services provided by the Ministry to health facilities and citizens.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Public Health and Population.
