WASHINGTON June 24. 2024 (Saba) - Activists in the United States have launched an online campaign urging members of Congress to rescind an invitation extended to the Prime Minister of Israel to address Congress next month.

The move comes as Israeli military forces are accused of ongoing atrocities and crimes against Palestinians.

The campaign calls on congressional representatives to revoke Netanyahu's invitation, boycott his scheduled speech if it proceeds, and halt what they term as "unconditional" financial and military support for the Israeli government.

Earlier, members of the Democratic Party had announced their intention to boycott Netanyahu's speech, which was issued by the Senate and House of Representatives in their efforts to bolster support for the Israeli administration.
