HODEIDA June 22. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Hodeida Province, headed by Governor Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, discussed today, Saturday, procedures and ways to confront acute watery diarrhea disease and limit its spread.
The meeting, which included Province Undersecretary Muhammad Halisi , Ali Kabari and Deputy Chairman of Al-Thawra Hospital Authority Dr. Abdo Obaid, was devoted to discussing urgent developments in medical cases and raising readiness to receive and treat patients.
The Governor of Hodeida directed to raise the efficiency level and put in place emergency measures to confront acute watery diarrhea and not to be lenient in implementing measures related to the causes of the return of this disease, including forming committees to examine water and chlorinate sources of drinking water and sanitation.
He stressed the importance of concerted efforts of all concerned parties to implement the responsibilities entrusted to them in this regard and harness the necessary support and capabilities to confront cholera and support the disease treatment center as required.
