SANA'A June 13. 2024 (Saba) - Two workshops were held in Sana'a on the guide to unified standard procedures for managing women's protection issues and designing women's protection programs, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in cooperation with the Women's Protection Sub-Cluster.

Over the course of six days, the two workshops discussed the guide to unified standard procedures for managing women’s issues, the methodology for preparing the guide, its objectives, and terminology and concepts related to the protection of women’s issues in a manner consistent with the laws and identity of the Yemeni people.

They reviewed working papers on humanitarian crises and their impact on women’s protection issues, programming of protection issues, principles and standards, sub-cluster tasks, humanitarian coordination, and identifying the needs of affected communities when working with women’s protection issues.

The two workshops came within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry and the bloc to work with partners in the field of women’s protection for the purpose of unifying interventions and procedures to work with their cases according to a clear scientific methodology that ensures the provision of multiple and purposeful services to enable women to bear the burdens of life.
