BOGOTA June 13. 2024 (Saba) - Colombian Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo has stressed that the Zionist war on Gaza is unacceptable, calling on the countries of the world to unite and stand in solidarity for an immediate ceasefire.

“The Palestinian people are facing genocide today, and we must announce this clearly,” Commenting on the tragic events in Gaza, Murillo was quoted by the Palestine Today news agency as saying.

“There is a ridiculous and unfair war taking place there, and the international community must intervene urgently and effectively,” He added.

He stressed that Colombia is ready to provide all types of support.
Murillo recalled that they are participants in the case filed by South Africa against "Israel" in the International Court of Justice.

He pointed out that they also support the decision of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, regarding the government of the Zionist entity.

On May 3, Colombia announced the severing of its diplomatic relations with Israel due to its war on the Palestinian people in Gaza.
