DHALE' June 12. 2024 (Saba) - Director General of Market Stability at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Khaled Al-Khawlani, was briefed today ,Wednesday, on the ration and price conditions in the city of Damt in Al-Dhale' Province.
Al-Khawlani explained that the field visit comes based on the directives of the Minister of Industry in the caretaker government to determine the extent of compliance with the price lists in the markets in Damt district.
He pointed out that a number of violations were detected, including non-compliance with price lists and failure to announce prices.
He stressed that the Internal Trade Sector of the Ministry of Industry issued instructions to the ministry’s offices to strengthen field supervision of markets, especially with the approaching Eid al-Adha, which is one of the most important consumer seasons, with the aim of protecting the consumer.
Al-Khawlani pointed out that the food supply situation is stable and meets the needs of citizens for various commodities.
