MARIB June 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in Sirwah District, Marib Governorate, on Monday organized a scouting parade for summer course students and a closing ceremony for summer activities.
At the ceremony held at the Mr. Leader Model Centre, Governorate Undersecretary Ali Al-Zaidi and Deputy Public Mobilization Officer in the Governorate Hussein Abunab stressed the importance of summer courses in providing young people with knowledge, religious sciences and Quranic culture.
They praised the efforts of teachers and those in charge of the courses in educating students, developing their abilities, consolidating the faith identity in them, and enabling them to advance the nation's reality.
In turn, the Director of the Education Office in the Governorate, Ali Al-Zaidi, and the Directorate's Public Mobilization Officer, Saeed Omair, praised the role of official and community agencies in supporting and making summer courses and schools successful.
The event included assays and poems that reflected the talents and creativity of the students, the level of benefit from the activities and programs of the summer courses, and honoring the students and teachers.
