SANA'A June 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Tenders Committee of the Capital Secretariat opened the envelopes for two tenders for two projects: establishing points of sale for fish , marine products , purchasing, supplying and operating equipment for the central slaughterhouse in Dar Salam, at an estimated cost of 359 million riyals.

The two projects, funded by the local council through the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit in the secretariat, include purchasing, supplying, installing and operating equipment for the slaughterhouse at the central slaughterhouse in Dar Salam in Al-Sabeen District, and establishing 27 points of sale for fish and marine products in the secretariat’s districts, the first phase.

Head of the Local Council Secretary General, Amin Jamaan stressed adherence to the conditions and specifications specified in the tender documents, speedy decision-making, and completion of the necessary procedures to begin implementation, in a way that contributes to improving the services of the public slaughterhouses office and establishing points of sale for fish and marine products in the targeted districts.

He stressed the keenness of the local authority in the capital secretariat to support and implement service projects that meet the needs of citizens in various fields, improve service provision, and promote local development in the various directorates of the secretariat.

The opening of the envelopes was attended by the Director of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the secretariat, Engineer Abdul Malik Al-Ansi, the office of the General Organization for Slaughterhouses and Meat Markets, Ahmed Idris, and others.
