TEHRAN June 09. 2024 (Saba) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani stressed that Palestine is a great testing ground for the entire human society.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted Kanaani in a speech during a ceremony honoring the winners of the media campaign called Qaqnus Qalam (Penguin of the Pen) and commemorating the martyrs of Gaza journalists in the presence of journalists, media professionals and activists in the Palestinian cause, saying: The Zionist entity, with all its military capabilities, has lost its political influence on the battlefield against the Palestinian people, and was the biggest loser alongside the US administration in this battle.. referring to America's role in the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist enemy entity in Gaza.
He added: Now, the responsibility of countries and governments, in addition to the international pursuit and follow-up of the Zionist entity, falls on the shoulders of the countries and governments to hold the US administration accountable, which provides full and unlimited support to this usurping entity.
He pointed out that it is natural for supporters of the Zionist entity to respond to the consciences of the vigilant international community and world public opinion, as well as international legal and judicial authorities, regarding how they stood by the usurping entity of the Palestinian people and how the blood of more than 40 thousand people of the oppressed Palestinian people was shed and killed in eight months.
Regarding the role of the independent media, Kanaani said: The independent media, regional media and the axis of resistance were able to play a fundamental, central and decisive role in conveying the voice of the oppressed Palestinian people and also in narrating the bitter reality of the Palestinian arena and the Gaza Strip.
He added: These media outlets have indeed succeeded in making the peoples of the world stand in solidarity and support with the oppressed Palestinian people.. considering that the role of the media was very decisive and pivotal.
