BAYDA June 09. 2024 (Saba) - Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris inaugurated today, Sunday, the distribution of one thousand school chairs produced by the maintenance workshop of the Office of Education.
Governor Idris, along with the Director of the Education Office, Sarhan Sawad, heard from the Maintenance Director, Ahmed Al-Qawsi, an explanation about the components of the workshop, including machines and equipment, the stages of production and maintenance of school chairs for a thousand new double chairs, rehabilitation and maintenance as a first stage.
The Governor of Al-Bayda praised the efforts made to rehabilitate and maintain school chairs as an ideal solution to confront the problems and needs of education in light of the conditions that Yemen is going through. He stressed the readiness of the province’s leadership to support the education sector in a way that contributes to improving performance and overcoming difficulties.
He stressed the need to continue regular maintenance of chairs and tables in the province’s directorates.
While the director of the province’s education office indicated that establishing a central workshop to rehabilitate school chairs and tables will contribute to meeting the need, pointing to the large shortage that the province’s schools suffer from in chairs and tables.
