DONETSK June 8. 2024 (Saba) - Donetsk authorities late on Friday said Ukrainian forces shelled Donetsk territory 23 times in the last 24 hours, firing 57 projectiles of various calibers.

Sputnik quoted the Donetsk representation at the Joint Monitoring and Coordination Center as saying on Telegram that: In the last 24 hours, the representation recorded 23 cases of shelling by Ukrainian forces, 12 of them on the Donetsk axis, ten on the Gorlovka axis and one case of shelling on the Yasinovataya axis.

The statement noted that Ukrainian forces fired a total of 57 projectiles of various calibers.

According to the representative office, one civilian was reportedly injured.

The previous day, 42 cases of shelling by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded.
