TAIZ June 08. 2024 (Saba) - Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Amin Al-Musawa, inspected today,Saturday, the ongoing work progress of the first phase of the solar energy station project in Taiz.
During the visit, along with the Head of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency, Saba Nasr Al-Din Amer, the Governor’s Undersecretary Mansour Ahmed Saddam and the Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Muhammad Yahya Al-Khaled, Al-Musawa stressed the importance of service and development projects to alleviate the citizens' suffering in light of the current circumstances, considering the solar power station project one of the Vital and service projects in the province that come within the framework of the local authority’s keenness to enhance infrastructure efforts.
For his part, the director of the local water and sanitation corporation, Muhammad Ibrahim, indicated that the alternative energy project “first phase” will work to provide water pumping to citizens to alleviate their suffering in addition to reducing operating expenses based on diesel.
He stated that the project will operate nine water wells with a capacity of more than 500 kilograms as a first phase.
