BRUSSELS June 06. 2024 (Saba) - An international petition was issued today,Thursday, signed by about 250 organizations, parties, and popular movements entitled “With Yemen in the Face of American and British Aggression and Arrogance,” at the initiative of the “Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement,” “Samoun Network,” and the “Palestine Women’s Movement - Al Karama.”
Member of the executive body of the "Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement", Khalidiya Abu Bakra, explained in a press statement that petition was signed by hundreds of parties, popular and revolutionary forces, liberation movements, and trade unions around the world to express their support for the brave Yemeni position, and their standing alongside the Yemeni people in the face of the siege and aggression.
For her part, the international coordinator of the Samidoun Network for the Defense of Palestinian Prisoners, Charlotte Kates, pointed out that “the petition expresses an international popular rally around the Yemeni position in support of the steadfastness and struggle of the Palestinian people in the face of the war of extermination waged by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.”
The parties, organizations and associations that signed the petition condemned the American-British aggression and raids on the struggling people of Yemen, expressing their support for the principled Yemeni position towards the Palestinian issue and rights.
In the petition statement, it declared its solidarity with the Yemeni people in their historic battle that they are waging in support of the oppression of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, in order to stop the Zionist war crimes and break the siege... stressing its support for the valiant Yemeni armed forces , their natural and legitimate right to respond to the aggression in implementation of the Yemeni popular demand , directives and the decisions of the revolutionary leadership in Sana'a.
The parties, organizations and associations that signed the petition indicated that the heroic Yemeni position, which was embodied in word and deed in confronting war and aggression over the past ten years, and in supporting the Palestinian people for more than eight months, constituted the true response against the Zionist-American war of annihilation to which the Palestinian people are being exposed in Gaza Strip.
The besieged Gaza also embodied the effective revolutionary model of true solidarity with the Palestinian people.
They pointed out that this exceptional stance has become a source of pride and inspiration for all peoples , struggling movements in the world, proving the strength of free peoples , their ability to change the equations of conflict and the balance of power in the face of imperialism, Zionism and its agents in the world.
