SANA'A May 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Public Electricity Corporation (PEC) announced on Thursday the completion of maintenance and rehabilitation work on the power plant in "Juban" in Dhalea Governorate with a capacity of one thousand kilowatts.

The Corporation confirmed in a statement received by Saba a copy of it, that the coming days will witness the delivery of electricity to subscribers in the cities of Juban and Damt in Dhalea.

The statement pointed out that the corporation is making great efforts to rehabilitate and maintain stations and transformers in all Yemeni regions, to restore the electrical network and return it to service after the forced suspension during the period of aggression.

The Corporation appreciated the great efforts of its technical and engineering crews who continue to work day and night to restore electricity, to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

The statement pointed out that these efforts and achievements are self-funded by the Foundation, and receive follow-up and attention from the Minister of Electricity and Energy in the caretaker government, Dr. Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti.
